About Us

In 2013 Raw and Moore Occupational Therapy was founded in response for the need for more adult mobile community services within the Canberra region.

Our mission remains to provide high quality, evidence based service provisions to our clients and their families to help our clients achieve their goals and to treat our clients like they are a member of our family. Since we started in 2013, our team has expanded, we have travelled near and far, including the snowy mountains, southern highlands, south coast, far west and orana regions and have a paediatric service.

We have experience working within different funding models, including NDIS, My Aged Care, ComCare, Lifetime Care and Support, Work Cover and Department of Veterans Affairs. We look forward to working with you to help achieve your goals.

Raw & Moore are Registered Providers of Medicare, DVA, AHPRA, and NDIS

What is Occupational Therapy?

Occupational Therapy is a client-centred health profession dedicated to promoting health and well-being through occupation.

Occupations include activities in which we engage in a daily basis such as showering, dressing, toileting, cooking, cleaning, gardening. They also include activities we complete outside the home including shopping, banking, attending social groups and your profession.

The primary goal of an occupational therapist is to enable people whose abilities may have been disrupted because of accident, illness or disability to participate in these activities of everyday life through rehabilitation, compensation, adaptation and environmental modification.

Our therapists will complete these assessments in your home, school, or our clinic.
